Terms of use
What this site is, what it is not, and what you are agreeing to by using it. The shortest honest summary: the astronomy is computed and checkable, the interpretation is a tradition, and neither is advice.

What this site does
Vastu Gurus computes positions, numbers and placements, and explains what a tradition says about them. The two halves are different in kind and the site keeps them apart on purpose.
The astronomy is a calculation. Planetary positions come from NASA JPL ephemeris data through Skyfield, not from a lookup table, and you can check any of them against an independent source. The arithmetic of a numerology number or a Kua number is shown so you can follow it.
What those positions are said to mean is a reading of classical texts and a modern product decision about how to weigh them. Where we have applied a weighting that no classical source states, the page says so in its own words. See the method page.
This is not advice
Nothing here is medical, legal, financial, psychological or structural advice, and no reading on this site should be used in place of a qualified professional.
A vastu reading in particular is not a survey. It says nothing about the title to a property, the condition of the structure, the services, the planning position or the price. If you are buying a home, engage a surveyor and a lawyer. A score on this site is one input among several and should never be the reason a purchase goes ahead or falls through.
Kundali matching reports what the Ashtakoota method computes. It is not a judgement about two people and it is not a reason to begin or end a relationship.
No outcome is promised
We do not predict events and we make no claim that following any reading will change what happens to you. Where a page describes a period or a transit, it is describing what the tradition associates with it, not forecasting your life.
Remedies, including the costed ones in a vastu report, are what the tradition prescribes. The cost ranges shown are indicative and are not quotations. Any building work is yours to commission, and anything structural needs the approvals that apply where you live.
Accuracy, and the limits of it
A reading is only as good as what you type. A birth time an hour out moves the rising sign; a room marked in the wrong place is read in the wrong zone. The site shows you what it understood so you can check it, and that check is yours to make.
Where the site cannot compute something it says so and leaves the space empty. It does not fill a gap with a plausible sentence, and a blank on this site means an absence rather than a value of zero.
Your account and what you save
You are responsible for keeping access to your account, and for the accuracy of what you enter. Anything you save stays yours. We do not sell it, publish it, or use it to train anything.
We may close an account that is being used to attack the service, to break the law, or to impersonate somebody. We will say why.
Fair use of the service
Two endpoints spend real money per request and are rate limited for that reason. Working around the limit, scraping the site in bulk, or putting the service behind another product without permission are all outside what the service is for.
Reading your own results, printing them and keeping them is entirely the point, and that includes saving a reading as a PDF.
Payment
Payment is not wired up yet. The pricing page lists what each report will cost and says plainly that you cannot buy one today. When payment is available these terms will be updated before it is switched on, and the date at the top will move.
Availability
This is a service that can go down, be taken down for maintenance, or lose a feature that turns out to be wrong. A report in progress can fail; if it does, you are told, and nothing is charged because nothing is charged at all yet.
Pages marked as not yet built say what they will do and compute nothing. They are visible on purpose rather than hidden, and they are not a promise of a date.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law where you live allows it, we are not liable for any loss arising from a decision you took because of a reading on this site, including a property you bought, sold, altered or walked away from.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
These terms can change. The date at the top is the date they last changed in substance, not the date the site was last deployed. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting it.
