What this site knows about you
Short version: there are no cookies, no analytics and no advertising anywhere on this site. Your floor plan stays in your browser unless you press one clearly marked button. The rest of this page says exactly what happens, tool by tool.

There are no cookies and no tracking
This site sets no cookies at all, so there is no cookie banner to dismiss. It carries no analytics, no advertising, no social media pixels and no third-party scripts of any kind. Nobody is building a profile of you here, because there is nothing doing it.
The typefaces are served from this site rather than from Google, so loading a page does not tell a font provider that you visited.
Using a tool without signing in
Most of this site works signed out, and that is the normal way to use it. When you fill in a birth date, time and place to draw a chart, match a kundali, compute a dasha or look at transits, those values are sent to our server, used to compute the answer, and not written down. The result comes back and the request is finished.
The one thing kept while you move around is your birth details, held in the browser tab itself so that walking from one tool to the next does not make you type them again. Closing the tab ends that. It is not written to storage on your device.
Ordering a full report
A report takes a few minutes to build, so it has to survive you closing the tab. The birth details you gave, the finished document and the language you chose are stored on our server against a report number, and are deleted automatically seven days after the report was started. Nothing restores them afterwards.
Your browser separately keeps a short list of the reports you have made, so the My reports page can show them. That list is on your device only, is never sent anywhere, and is cleared when you clear this site’s data in your browser.
Reading your floor plan
By default the plan stays in your browser. If you upload an image it is read into the page and stays in that tab. If you draw one instead, the same is true of what you draw.
What normally gets sent is the rectangles: a room name such as “Kitchen”, its position and size as a fraction of the plan, which way north points, and the bearing of your front door if you gave one. That is everything the rules need and considerably less than a picture of where you live. The width and depth you type for a drawn plan are used in the browser to place the grid and are not sent at all.
There is one exception, and it only happens if you press it. On the step where you check your uploaded plan there is a button marked “Find the rooms for me”. Pressing it sends the plan image to our server and on to a vision model, which reads it once and returns a set of proposed rooms for you to check and correct. The image is used for that one request and is not stored afterwards.
It is never automatic, it is offered once per plan, and every tool works without it. If you do not press it, no picture of your home leaves this device.
Signing in
An account exists for one reason: a saved floor plan has to belong to somebody before it can be stored. Every other tool here works signed out and will carry on doing so.
Sign-in is handled by Google’s Firebase Authentication. If you continue with Google, Google tells us your account identifier, your name and your email address. If you use a phone number, Google sends the code and tells us the number. Google processes that sign-in under its own privacy policy, and we never see your Google password.
What we hold is the identifier Firebase gives us, and we attach it to any plan you save so that one person’s plan is not readable by another.
Where your data leaves our server
Two features are written by a language model from OpenAI: the answers from Ask an AI astrologer and the written sections of a full report. Both send OpenAI a list of facts computed from your chart, such as which planet is in which sign and house. Ask an AI astrologer also sends the question you typed, because the question is the thing being answered.
Your name is not part of what is sent. The model is given the positions and the vocabulary it is allowed to use, and the result is checked against that list before you see it, which is the same mechanism that stops it inventing a number.
The other one is the floor plan auto-detect described above, which goes to a vision model and only when you press the button.
Everything else on this site is computed by our own engine from NASA JPL ephemeris data and a rule book, with no third party involved.
What the server records by itself
Two endpoints cost real money per call, so the number of requests from an address is counted to stop one visitor exhausting the allowance for everybody. That count is held in memory, is per address rather than per person, and is lost whenever the service restarts.
The web server keeps ordinary access logs. If something fails, the fault is written to our log with a short reference, and the same reference is shown to you, so a problem can be traced without the error text having to carry any of your details.
What is stored on your device
Two things, both in your browser’s local storage and neither readable by us: the list of reports you have generated, and a note that you dismissed the prompt to install this site as an app. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes both.
The site also keeps a copy of its own pages so it works without a connection. That cache holds pages, not your answers.
Deleting what we hold
A report deletes itself seven days after it was started, with no action from you. If you want it gone sooner, or you want the account and everything attached to it removed, ask and it will be done.
Children
This site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly hold data about them. A birth chart is commonly drawn for a child by a parent, and in that case the details are the parent’s to give and the parent’s to have deleted.
Changes to this page
The date at the top is the date this page last changed in substance, not the date the site was last deployed. If what we do with your data changes, that date changes with it.
The claims on this page describe the software as it is built. If you want to check one, the method page explains how the readings are computed, and the terms of use cover what this site is and is not.
